NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
MICHIGAN NATURAL RESOURCES TRUST FUND GRANT
CLARA MILLER PARK IMPROVEMENT AND RENOVATION PROJECT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village of Wolverine Lake Council will hold a Public Hearing on June 10th, 2020 at 7pm to receive comments from interested parties on the Village’s proposed Grant Application to the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund (MNRTF).
The purpose of the grant proposal is to moved forward with the development project to improve and renovate Clara Miller Park to provide barrier-free access to amenities, modernization, and improvements to our overall playground layout and equipment design by incorporating universal design standards. The current park will be improved through updates to park equipment, pathways, restrooms, pavilions, and all other appurtenances to maintain a safe and functional fitness and outdoor activity experience for park visitors and to attract new visitors from the community. The park will also be a very useful accommodation for users from outside the Village who utilize it for educational, fitness, and recreational programs; in furtherance of the Village’s Recreation Five-Year Master Plan (2016 - 2020), adopted February 10, 2016; and subsequent Clara Miller Park Master Plan adopted January 17, 2017.
The Public Hearing will be held:
Wednesday, June 10th, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.
