St. Patrick's Day Pub Crawl, Leprechaun Hunt Bus Trip -- SOLD OUT

The Village of Wolverine Lake Park and Recreation Board will be hosting a bus trip on Friday, March 17, 2017 for a St. Patrick's Day "Pub Crawl, Leprechaun Hunt" in Corktown. View Flyer for complete details.

Easter Bunny Lunch

On Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm the Village of Wolverine Lake Park & Recreation Board will be hosting it's annual Easter Bunny Lunch. Children can visit with the Easter Bunny, have lunch, do a craft project and participate in an Easter Egg Hunt, which takes place at 2:00pm. This event is held at the Richardson Center, 1485 Oakley Park Road, Commerce, MI 48390. View flyer for admission costs and complete event details. Register on line now or at Village Hall, 425 Glengary, Wolverine Lake, MI 48390. Deadline to pay in advance is 12:00pm, Friday, March 24, 2017 unless the event sells out prior to this date and time. A limited number of walk ins will be allowed if the event is not sold out, if space and supplies permit, so pre-registration is recommended. For information call 248-624-1710.

Annual Fishing Tournament

Results of the 17th annual catch and release fishing contest, hosted by the Park and Recreation Board, were announced and winners were awarded their prizes at the Village's 28th annual Corn Roast Festival, held on Saturday, September 10, 2016. Click here to view results

 Tiki Night -- Fireworks


Tiki Night Fireworks are always held on July 3rd.

Fund-raising for the fireworks show is necessary and an ongoing project. Donations are always gratefully accepted and added to our Village Fireworks Fund. Send your donations to Village Hall at 425 Glengary, Wolverine Lake, MI 48390. Please make checks payable to Onwards & Upwards Community Enrichment Fund or

 ​Notice of Hydrant Flushing

The Village of Wolverine Lake is scheduled to flush hydrants on the last Thursday and Friday during the months of April, July and October. Residents tied into the water system should bypass their water softeners and avoid doing laundry from 9:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. each of those days. Some areas in the Village will have water turned off intermittently during the hydrant flushing. Some residents can expect rust to appear in the water. If this happens run an outside faucet approximately 15 minutes before reattaching the water softener. If you have any questions, please contact the Village offices.
