 Park and Recreation Board


The Park and Recreation Board meets the third Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. The Board consists of 9 members, 2 of whom are liaisons from the Council and Planning Commissions. Duties include planning​ bus trips for Village Residents, updating park playground equipment, hosting the Village Festival, Snacks with Santa and the Easter Bunny Lunch.

Park and Recreation Board Members include Scott Fredericks (Chairperson and Planning Liaison), Diane Braykovich, Sarah Douglass, Deborah Malbin, Kelly Siko, Julia Miller and David Dumont (Council Liaison). Currently there is one vacancies on this Board. Apply at Village Hall.

 Planning Commission


The Planning Commission meets the fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. The commission consists of 9 Village Residents. One Planning Commission member serves as a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals, one member serves on the Water Management Board and another member serves on the Park and Recreation Board. Duties of the Planning Commission include investigating new ordinances, creating and updating the Master Plan, reviewing commercial building site plans and promoting the general welfare of the Village.

Planning Commission members include Tom Hite (Chairperson), Brian Linman (Vice Chair), Cynthia Rocker (Secretary), Scott Fredericks (Park & Recreation Liaison), Cathy Moretto (Zoning Board of Appeals Liaison), Ginger Nickloy, John Stawizky (Water Management Liaison) and Brian Nedrow (Council Liaison). Currently there is one vacancy on this Board. Apply at Village Hall.

 Water Management Board

The Water Management Board meets the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. The Board consists of 7 Village Residents who volunteer. Two of the members are liaisons from different boards; one member is from the Planning Commission and the other is from the Village Council. Duties include studying the effects of the annual lake draw down, advising Council regarding chemical treatment of the lake, protecting the shoreline and water fowl and participating in goose roundup and egg replacement each year.
 
Water Management Board Members include John Stawizky (Chairperson and Planning Liaison), Sigmond Jamison (Vice Chair), Kathryn Duff, Dixie Gannon, Michael Hurst, Micheal Sergeant and John Scott (Council Liaison).

Mission Statement:  Develop a complete history of our Village, its people and events. Maintain and update records and documents that are part of our history. Develop and implement a format for sharing information with our residents and interested parties.


Historical Team Members include Chuck Cardinale (Chairperson), Monique Magee,
                                                 Gene Matkowksi, Ginger Nikloy and Joann Sullivan.

 Zoning Board of Appeals

The Zoning Board of Appeals meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. The Board consists of 7 members, one of whom is a liaison fro​m the Planning Commission. There is also one alternate who may fill in for a Member in the event of an absence. The Zoning Board of Appeals is vested with the jurisdiction and authority to hear and decide appeals for a variance. Decisions of the Planning Commission pertaining to special land uses and planned development are subject to the Zoning Board of Appeals review. A decision of the Zoning Board of Appeals is the final administrative decision subject to judicial review.

 
Zoning Board of Appeal Members include Craig Minoletti (Chairperson), Glen Ponder (Vice Chair), Dixie Gannon, Cathy Moretto (Planning Liaison), Michael Stawizky, Mark Duff (Council Liaison) and Bob Malek (1st Alternate). Zoning Board of Appeals Applications must be turned in a minimum of five weeks prior to meetings.
