The Commerce Township Fire Department is responsible for protection to the residents of the Village in fire and medical emergencies. There are four stations in service.

Recreational Fires

Annual burn permits for recreational fires are available at any one of the four Commerce Township Fire Stations. For more information please call: 248-560-0051.

Recreational fires are not allowed:

When the wind speed is above 10 MPH
Within 50 feet of any structure
On property being developed for residential or business use
On any road way, right of way, or safety path
