 Park and Recreation Board

 

The Park and Recreation Board meets the third Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. The board consists of 9 members, 2 of whom are liaisons from the Council and Planning Commissions. Duties include planning bus trips for Village Residents, updating park playground equipment, and hosting the Village Festival, boat parade and Easter Bunny Lunch.
 
Park & Recreation Board Members include Richard Pobe (Chairperson), Roger Busch, Bob Malek (Council Liaison), Jennifer Hansen, Lynn Lewis, Darlene Perigo, Scott Fredericks (Planning Liaison),
Lori Capper and Renae Moore.

 

 Planning Commission

 

The Planning Commission meets the fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. The commission consists of 9 Village Residents. One Planning Commission member serves as a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals and another member serves on the Park and Recreation Board. Duties of the Planning Commission include investigating new ordinances, creating and updating the Master Plan, reviewing commercial building site plans, and promoting the general welfare of the Village.
Planning Commission members include Tom Hite (Chairperson), Brian Nedrow (Council Liaison), Frank Trionfi (Vice Chair), Scott Fredericks (Park & Recreation Liaison) Tom Collins, Ginger Nickloy, Phillip Cook and Brian Linman.

 

 Water Management Board

 
 
The Water Management Board meets the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. The Board consists of 9 Village Residents who volunteer. Two of the members are liaisons from different boards; one member is from the Planning Commission, and the other is from the Village Council. Duties include studying the effects of the annual lake draw down, advising Council regarding chemical treatment of the lake, protecting the shoreline and water fowl, and participating in goose roundup and egg replacement each year.
 
Water Management Board Members include Clifford Yantz (Chairperson), John Scott (Vice Chairperson), Sue Solomon, Pam Kaznecki (Council Liaison), Scott Lewis, Marco Rodi, Matthew Richardson and Paul Biediger.

 Wolverine Lake Historical Team

 

Mission Statement:  Develop a complete history of our Village and its people and events. Maintain and update records and documents that are part of our history. Develop and implement a format for sharing information with our residents and interested parties.

 

 Zoning Board of Appeals

 


The Zoning Board of Appeals meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. The Board consists of 7 members, one of whom is a liaison from the Planning Commission. The Zoning Board of Appeals is vested with the jurisdiction and authority to hear and decide appeals for a variance. Decisions of the Planning Commission pertaining to special land uses and planned development are subject to the Zoning Board of Appeals review. A decision of the Zoning Board of Appeals is the final administrative decision subject to judicial review.
 
Zoning Board of Appeal Members include Craig Minoletti (Chairperson), Glen Ponder (Vice Chair), Jack Shenkman, (Secretary), Bob Malek (Council Liaison), Scott Bowen, Michael Stawizky, Charles Gottlieb and Heather O'Connor (1st Alternate). Zoning Board Appeals Applications must be turned in four weeks prior to meetings.

 Resources
